Catherine Ritzmann received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice at Northern Kentucky University in December of 2013. She worked at the Children's Law Center while earning her Juris Doctorate from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in May of 2017 and was admitted to practice law in Ohio that same year.
After graduation she immediately started working for Kentucky's Department of Public Advocacy on her limited law license until passing the Kentucky bar examination in March of 2018. As a Staff Attorney at the Boone County Public Defender's Office she handled a wide variety of criminal cases in the Juvenile Division, District Court, and Circuit Court.
In April of 2019, Ms. Ritzmann was hired by the Hamilton County Public Defender's Office in Ohio as a Staff Attorney in the Municipal Division. She continued to zealously advocate for her clients in that position until January of 2020 when she accepted her position with Meadows Law Firm.
Catherine focused on a career in criminal defense because she strongly believes in Due Process of the law and protecting the rights of others. She believes that criminal defense provides a system of checks and balance on the criminal justice system as a whole. Guaranteeing no agency operates unchallenged and unquestioned. She has a client centered practice and works hard to achieve their goals. Catherine is competitive, professional, and works all angles of a case to achieve maximum results.
