Ms. Ritzmann received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice at Northern Kentucky University in December of 2013. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in May of 2017 and was admitted to practice law in Ohio that same year.
After graduation, she started working for Kentucky’s Department of Public Advocacy on her limited law license until passing the Kentucky bar examination in March 2018. While at the Boone County Trial Office, she covered the following dockets in Northern Kentucky: Juvenile, District Court, Circuit Court, Child Support, and Mental Health.
In April 2019, Ms. Ritzmann was asked to join the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office in Ohio where she accepted the position as Staff Attorney in the Municipal Division. She continued to zealously advocate for her clients in that position until joining the Meadows Law Firm in January 2020.
Ms. Ritzmann is focused on a career in criminal defense because she strongly believes in due process of the law; criminal defense provides a system of checks and balance on the criminal justice system as a whole. Guaranteeing that no agency, whether that be the County Attorney’s Office or the police department, operate unchallenged and unquestioned.
