Brien K. Miller


After closing his solo firm in Blue Ash, Attorney Brien Miller joined The Meadows Law Firm where fights for the rights and futures of his accused individuals. While he is experienced in handling a wide range of matters, he focuses the majority of his work handling cases involving:

  • Juvenile law
  • Criminal law
  • DUI/OVI defense law
  • Domestic relations

Experience and Background

Miller earned his Bachelor’s degree in History at the University of Cincinnati in 1992. Upon the completion of undergraduate studies, he moved on to obtain his Master’s degree in Education at Xavier University. While in graduate school, he worked as a substitute teacher during the day and at Bethesda North Hospital at night.

Miller attended the University of Cincinnati College of Law after deciding to leave teaching. While there, he completed a year-long internship with the Hamilton County Office of the Public Defender. He also won UC’s coveted Federal Bar Association John W. Peck Trial Practice Award. After graduating from law school, Miller passed the bar examinations for both Ohio and Kentucky within his first year. He is also admitted in the United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio.

For more than 20 years, Miller taught Social Studies and coached year-round for school teams and in the community. Additionally, he served as an associate head coach and trainer for the Cincinnati Mavericks, a nationally ranked competitive baseball team.

Miller is an Ironman finisher, an avid reader, an exercise junkie, and a lifelong learner.
